Update: Andy Poprawa wins Outstanding Achievement in Governance Award

As such, we are pleased and proud to announce that Andy Poprawa (CPA, CA, C.Dir), Educators Financial Group Board Chair, has received the Outstanding Achievement in Governance Award from The Directors College.

The Directors College is the original university-accredited corporate director education program in Canada. It was founded in 2003 by The Conference Board of Canada and the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. The award is presented to an alumnus who displays the College’s core values and strategies to further good governance in Canada.

Educators Financial Group and our clients benefit greatly from Andy’s experience and guidance. A consultant and advisor to financial services regulatory agencies in Canada and abroad, his vast experience includes past President and Chief Executive Officer of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario, and working with the Ministry of Finance (Ontario) and the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada).

His recent award from The Directors College is just one of many achieved throughout an exemplary career dedicated to excellence in the financial field. We congratulate him.
